My expertise includes instructional design, eLearning, and curriculum/content development for professionals in life science, insurance, career transition, and education industries. I am known as an innovative and collaborative content curator focused on designing effective learning solutions and streamlining processes for product development.
Personally: I am a wife and mother of 3 young adults.
What do I do?
Professionally: I currently am an Instructional Designer at LHT Learning Group where I work with a team of instructional designers, medical writers, project managers, subject matter experts, graphic designers, editors, and strategists to design learning solutions for the life sciences, biotech, and healthcare industries. I formerly worked for Red Nucleus as an Instructional Designer.
Personally: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking, biking, walking/running, skiing, reading, and watching movies. I also enjoy listening to music, singing and playing my flute in a small ensemble, singing in a community choir, and serving my church community.
What are my interests?
Professionally: I am fascinated by new tools and technologies that can enhance learning, streamline processes, and help stir creativity. I'm interested in exploring how AI, AR, VR, mixed reality, video, animation, and gamification can provide exciting learning solutions! I'm willing and excited to unlock and open doors that lead to new possibilities and passions!
Personally: If I'm not doing the activities already mentioned, you can find me reading and learning about many industry topics and using Canva and Amazon Photos to design gifts on my computer!
Where am I going?
Professionally: My goal is to continue to work and collaborate with a team of professionals who are passionate about designing and developing learning solutions for others. I want to continue to hone my instructional design and eLearning developer skills, and lead with integrity and by example.
Personally: I work hard. As a result, my goal is to improve my work/life balance, take more time to enjoy my family, do more activities that I enjoy, and cherish the simple things of life. Life is short and the key to unlocking my heart to personal passions is important too.
